Pastel Animals in Hiding

For Square 1 Art (fundraiser), the third graders made these beautiful pastel animal pictures. They drew an animal, colored it in with oil pastels. On a separate piece of paper, students drew leaves, branches, seaweed etc. which they cut out and put around the animal (see the shark, finished product). The third graders were very happy with the outcome of their work!
